NAIP Products

NAIP imagery has now been processed and is available through a number of agencies and in a variety of data formats.

Statewide Mosaic

Remote Sensing and GIS Research and Outreach Services (RS&GIS), Michigan State University has processed and reprojected the NAIP imagery into a 3-band, statewide mosaic. Data have been compressed into the ECW format at a target compression ratio of 10:1, resulting in a 20 gigabyte image. ECW plug-ins can be accessed from the ER Mapper Web site - http://www.ermapper.com/. ArcGIS layer files and FGDC compliant metadata have been completed and are distributed with the data. Imagery is available at the standard service rates through the MSU Aerial Imagery Archive.
